When thinking about someone going crazy, what is the archetypical thing that comes to mind? Either they are deranged, damaged, or chaotic. In William Faulkners short story A Rose for Emily, the appellation character has officially lost her mind. Miss Emily is all of the above. The terms and pain of her past is what caused her to go crazy.
