David Swan, a traveler, sleeps downstairs a maple tree after outlay a good deal time walking in the hot summertimes sun.
A horse-wagon passes by scarcely unfortunately, loses one of its wheels. The passengers, an experienced conjoin couple, walk out of the carriage and find furnish under a close by maple tree. To their surprise, they find napping David. As the oldish couple inspects the dormancy, boylike fellow, they are reminded of their son of whom passed forth many years ago. Knowing that they needed a young man to pass on their riches to, they started to consider David. afterward taking into consideration that they knew nothing of this sleeping stranger, they made their port back to the horse wagon.
A beautiful, young lady makes her port under the maple tree. She spots David, and by curiosity, walks over to him. A bee of long proportions flies onto Davids head and she wisps it away. Looking at this sleeping stranger, lust fills the young ladies eyes. Imagines of her and him together fill her mind. The lady decides to permit the fellow sleep, and she quietly departs.
As the young lady leaves, both men appear under the maple tree. They also spot David but more importantly, the solve of goods hes sleeping under. Together, the d disgust men compose a plan to steal the sack from David, killing him if he should wake.
