Throughout Mark straddles; The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn frenzy and greed are motives for some of the characters bearing and Actions. The Grangerfords feud with the Shepardsons, the robbers plan to kill Jim food turner, and tittys desire and control of huckleberrys fortune are examples of greed and violence with in the novel.
Greed was in the form of Paps desire and need for Huckleberrys cardinal thousand dollars, which was prove in the cave. Fortunately Huck previously sold his six thousand dollar fortune in the hands and trade protection of Judge Thatcher for one dollar. This then ensures that Hucks sustain wont possess the money; this however does not discourage Paps way of live onting fortune. Hucks spawn goes to see Judge Thatcher and harasses him about retrieving the money. This action of greed then sparks into violence when Pap doesnt get what he was hoping for by getting drunk and causing trouble, kidnapping Huck, and almost putting to death him. In Anger he takes Huck in the woodland to a cabin where Pap almost kills Huck. For several years Huck executed his plan for escaping the cabin until one sunrise Huck finished the hole, escaped, and splashed a pigs blood on the cabin wall to make Pap believe that he was killed and then drug off.
Later in the novel Huckleberry finds a shipwreck, which he then goes closer to get look, when he overhears two robbers discussing their plans to kill Jim Turner, their accomplice, for snitching on them. Huck hears Jim Turner say Oh, please dont Bill-I haint ever goin to tell(chapter 12 knave 219). Huck then takes the robbers boat, because his had floated away, as rise as to take their loot and to tell officials to capture the men.
Violence is again displayed during Huckleberrys engagement with the Sheperdsons and the Grangerfords.
