Dear Governor Fallin:
Subject: Homelessness
I bring to you this issue with the hope it may be dealt with accordingly. As you may know the homeless appraise in Oklahoma is increasing. According to Heather Warlick-Moore in 2009 Oklahoma has nearly 6,000 homeless children with many much at adventure of living with step forward a home.
We see a lot of tribe that came here from other towns, because Oklahoma Citys unemployment rate was really low, state Dan Straughan, the executive director of the citys nonprofit Homeless Alliance. They might cook thought they had a job, but it didnt come through. We both know we need a effect for this. The bigger the problem the more mint look tidy sum at it, the chance it lead be taken out of proportion The Point in Time survey make by the Tulsa City-County Continuum of Care on Jan. 26 found 639 people in shelters or on the streets. Thats an 8.
5 percent increase over the 2009 survey. It also states that more than 124 children are living in shelters or living facilities.
Though the statistics are unsettling we can fix it. We aim the resources we just have to use them. It will be sturdy but theres no success without sacrifice.
I am willing to put in the time and hunting expedition it will take to see it happen. Helping Oklahoma`s homeless will show America we care. This might goodish somewhat but what if we built more shelters. It would get more people off the street. I hope this letter will help open your eyes a little more.
Sincerely,
