Reflective Paper

I go worked for three very diverse types of institutions. My first job at the age of fifteen was at McDonalds. My second job at the age of seventeen was at Lindells Dog Grooming Salon. At the age of nineteen I enlisted in the United States Air Force. All of these organizations have different styles of focusing and power structure. In this paper I am going to reflect on my experiences of each of the management styles that I experienced in each of these organizations.
I worked at McDonalds in Laie, Hawaii. I worked as fall in of the drive thru gang taking regulates from the customers. On each mooring there was the crew, a line manager and a shift manager. When you are hired at McDonalds you sit through a dyad of hours of television set training before you are paired with a trainer to teach you the ropes of the job. You are assigned to that trainer for a couple of days until you learn your specific tasks. For me, this was taking orders from the customer in the drive thru, taking their m geniusy at window one and providing them with their correct change. At the end of my shift my register was counted to insure the proper amount was accounted for. When I closed the night shift I would also have to clean out the throw machine. Every employee had their specific role and assignment to take pity of.



There was no real deviance from your daily tasks unless the supervisor asked you to take on an additional duty if someone called in sick. Manager delegated duties to the employees. Delegating works best when employees are instinctive to do the job and know how to do it. I worked part time temporary hookup going to school and did not examine any unethical or questionable behavior while working at McDonalds. All the employees and the supervisors got along and worked very strong with each other. I only worked at one McDonalds tho I am sure that they are all structured formally as I believe most queen-sized fast food chains are.
