Hannibal essay
History has its share of broad warriors and strategist, but most of the majuscule warriors may go neglected or completely overlooked. One great warrior that has many great qualities and essentials that goes overlooked is Hannibal. One of Hannibals great accomplishments that go over looked is, when he crossed the Alps. This battle was very critical Hannibal had to pit his way through a roman army, and cross the Pyrenees, (which is a difficult range of mountains.) Hannibal also had to employment his way crosswise southern France; this area was also under roman control. The senate from capital of Italy sent two armies to hinder the bridges at the Rhone River. The river is chummy and swift at its lower courses. Hannibal again fooled them and sent his fellow northward of the trap ahead.
Next, Hannibal crossed the river on protons, and swimming. Hanno, then ambushed the guards who were contemplate to be guarding the river, then Hannibal followed with the rest of the army. Hannibal even got elephants across on a ferry by building a round raft, but they covered the raft with earth so that the elephants design that they were still on the ground.




Finally, he was across the Rhone, and nothing stood betwixt him and Italy, except the Alps. The crossing of the Alps was a heroic attack in the case of Hannibal, being the great strategist that he was. The mountains alone were dangerous for Hannibal, and his army. The mountains were made even more dangerous, by the fact that the local tribes attacked anybody that entered the mountains. He arrived in Italy with a shortage of men, and elephants. Most of the elephants died before he reached northern Italy. Hannibals great strategy in crossing the Alps was bravery. The ability to fight with a shortage of men, mainly to bring elephants across on a fairy.
